Rodolfo Alves de Melo , short Rodolfo , (born March 19, 1991 in Santos ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

The goalkeeper was with Paraná Clube and in the junior team of Internacional before moving to Athletico Paranaense in 2011 . In May 2012 he made his debut in the Série B against Joinville . After a positive doping test in 2012, however, he was banned for one year. In 2015 Rodolfo was loaned to Ferroviária , with whom he won the Série A-2 of the São Paulo State Championship. Then he returned to Paranaense, who had also been promoted to the A series . Rodolfo made his first appearance in Série A in December 2015, against FC Santos .

In June 2019 it became known that a doping test on Rodolfo was positive. The test was made after the first leg in the second round of the Copa Sudamericana 2019 against Atlético Nacional . Although only a reserve player, he was drawn for a test. This showed a positive reaction to cocaine . Rodolfo decided not to test the B sample and was suspended from gaming.
