Rok Tarman (born October 18, 1997 ) is a Slovenian ski jumper .
Career
Rok Tarman starts for the ND Rateče Planica association . He made his debut on January 12th and 13th, 2013 in Planica in the Alpencup , where he finished 47th and 49th. In July 2014 Tarman started in Villach for the first time in the FIS Cup and reached 53rd place. Since then, further participation in both series of competitions has followed regularly.
From January 20 to 22, 2017, Tarman made his debut in the Continental Cup in Sapporo , finishing in 20th, fifth and 17th place. On March 19, 2017, Tarman achieved his first podium finish in the Continental Cup in Tchaikovsky . Thanks to further good results in the 2016/17 season , including five top 10 placements, he achieved 32nd place overall with 353 points.
At the Junior World Championships 2017 in Park City , Utah , Tarman started in the individual competition from the normal hill, but was disqualified.
On March 23, 2017, Tarman started the qualification on the Planica ski jumping hill for the first time in the Ski Jumping World Cup and reached his largest distance to date with 208.0 meters, but was 40th unable to qualify for the following competition. On September 22, 2018, he was able to achieve his first points at the highest level of performance as 25th as part of the Summer Grand Prix jumping in Râșnov, Romania .
