Rolf Böger (born August 9, 1908 in Strasburg , West Prussia , † January 17, 1995 in Detmold ) was a German business lawyer and member of the Bundestag in Lippe.

Life

As the son of a magistrate, Böger attended the humanistic high school in Wiesbaden. After graduating from high school in Frankfurt am Main, he studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the University of Innsbruck . He became a member of the Corps Suevia Munich (1928) and the Corps Gothia Innsbruck (1929). He completed his studies at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main , where he also performed most of the preparatory service. He passed the assessor examination in Berlin in 1934. There he joined the management of a major travel company as a legal advisor. From the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen he was awarded a Dr. iur. PhD. In 1933 he joined the National Socialist German Workers' Party (membership number 1.810.962). Called up for the Polish campaign in the army , he was appointed chairman of the board of a travel company in Prague by the Reich Ministry of Transport in 1940 . He then took on the duties of President of the Central Association of Transport for the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia . In the post-war period in Germany , he helped set up the German travel agency , whose management was temporarily located in Detmold. In 1947 he entered the service of the Lippe Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Detmold, which appointed him managing director in 1955. He held this position for 27 years until 1982 and thus remained well beyond the normal pension limit.

He had been a member of the FDP since 1953 and was a member of the Detmold City Council for many years. In the Landscape Assembly Westphalia-Lippe he was chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. Via the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia , he came to the 7th German Bundestag on January 25, 1973 as a replacement for Rudolf Augstein . He dedicated himself to the regional history of Lippe and was chairman of the Friends' Association of the Detmold State Theater .
