Rolf Karbach , before the change of name in April 1936 Jakob Karbach (born April 9, 1908 in Ems ; † March 15, 1992 in Ellern ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ), architect and local writer.

After attending primary school , Rolf Karbach completed an apprenticeship as a mason in Koblenz. In addition, he was trained as a structural engineer at the vocational school and then from 1925 to 1929 at the higher construction school in Bingen . He then earned his living from 1929 to 1931 as a construction manager in Darmstadt .

In June 1925 Karbach joined the NSDAP (No. 13.213) and the Sturmabteilung (SA). In the latter he took over the office of an SA press attendant and temporarily headed SA Storm 115 in Darmstadt. From June 1931 to 1932 he worked as a Gau propaganda leader in the Koblenz-Trier district. There were also tasks as a Gau speaker.

After 1933 Karbach became district youth welfare officer of the Koblenz and Trier government . He made a career with the Hitler Youth (HJ) and was initially promoted to Bannführer in 1931 and to Oberbannführer in 1932. With interruptions from 1933 to 1945 area leader of the Hitler Youth (HJ) Koblenz-Trier, from 1942 renamed Moselland. From 1933 to 1935 he was a representative of the Hitler Youth in the Saar area . Karbach took part in the Second World War as a reserve lieutenant from 1940 and was wounded during the campaign in the west . In 1941 he was awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class. He was also the holder of the Golden Decoration of Honor of the NSDAP and the HJ. After the withdrawal of Nazi functionaries from occupied Luxembourg around the turn of the month of August / September 1944 due to the war, Karbach u. a. a multi-page written complaint about Gauleiter Gustav Simon to Adolf Hitler , Heinrich Himmler and Martin Bormann .
