Rolf Kaulfersch

Rolf Kaulfersch (born August 7, 1919 in Dönis , Czechoslovakia , † July 20, 1987 ) was a German party functionary of the GDR block party NDPD . He was Deputy Minister of Justice of the GDR and a member of the People's Chamber .

Life

Kaulfersch, son of a worker, attended the elementary and community school in Grottau and then from 1933 to 1937 the commercial academy. This was followed by military service as a corporal in the 152nd artillery regiment and from 1940 to 1943 an activity in the postal administration.

In 1945 he was resettled from Czechoslovakia and came to the Soviet occupation zone . In 1946 he joined the SED and the FDGB . Kaulfersch attended the Volksrichterschule in Halle (Saale) in 1947/48 . In 1948 he became a member of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NDPD). In 1948/49 he was district judge in Halberstadt and deputy state chairman of the NDPD Saxony-Anhalt . From 1949 to 1954 he was a member of the State Board of Saxony-Anhalt and the Halle District Board of the Association of Democratic Jurists . From 1950 to 1952 Kaulfersch acted as district court president in Torgau and Dessau . From 1951 to 1954 he completed a distance learning course at the German Academy for Political Science and Law in Potsdam-Babelsberg , which he completed with the legal state examination. From 1952 to 1960 he served as chief judge and deputy director of the Halle District Court. Since 1957 he was a member of the board of the Association of Democratic Jurists in Germany. From 1960 to 1970 he was deputy minister of justice. In 1970/71 he worked as a deputy district court director in Potsdam .

From 1948 to 1955 Kaulfersch was NDPD district chairman in various districts of Saxony-Anhalt and the district of Halle . In addition to his membership in the district and district committee of the NDPD Halle (from 1952) Kaulfersch was a member of the main committee of the NDPD from 1949 to 1972 and a member of the central party control commission of the NDPD from 1963 to 1972.

Even if he did not run in the state elections in the province of Saxony in 1946 , he became a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt on October 28, 1949 . In the state elections in 1950 he was re-elected to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt. He belonged to it until the dissolution of the states in the GDR in 1952 as a member and was a member of the Petitions Committee. From 1952 to 1954 Kaulfersch was a member of the Halle district assembly and a member of the standing commission for health care and social welfare. From 1954 to 1963 he was a member of the People's Chamber and a member of the Legal Committee.
