The Romna ( Lombard Rónna ) is a 12 km long left tributary of the Serio in the Italian province of Bergamo in the northeast of Lombardy . It flows through the Val Gandino , a side valley of the Valle Seriana , and crosses the municipal areas of Gandino , Peia , Leffe , Cazzano Sant'Andrea and Casnigo .

The Romna arises at about 530  m slm through the confluence of the somewhat longer left source brook Valle Piana and the right source brook D'Argo at the church Chiesa di San Rocco agli Opifici a little above Gandino. The D'Argo rises on Monte Fogarolo and crosses the Val D'Argo , the Valle Piana runs through the valley of the same name and rises between Monte Grione in the south and Monte Palandone in the north.

Confluence of the stream Re

It initially flows southwest past Gandino and Peia, whose municipal boundary it forms, before it forms the one between Gandino and Leffe. Shortly after Leffe it turns left to northwest at the confluence of the Rino and immediately afterwards at the confluence of the Re from right again to southwest, where it briefly runs through the municipality of Cazzano Sant'Andrea. She reaches the municipality of Casigno, where she is accompanied in her valley by the Strada provinciale 42 . At Località Rasga it reaches the Seriana Valley

The Romna runs briefly parallel to a side canal of the Serio and finally flows into the Serio from the left at about 385  m slm opposite Fiorano al Serio.
