Ronald Shaver
Ronald "Ron" Shaver (born June 16, 1951 in Galt , Ontario ) is a former Canadian figure skater who started in a single run .
Shaver was Canadian vice-champion in 1973, 1974 and 1976 behind Toller Cranston , after whose resignation he became Canadian champion in 1977. From 1973 to 1977 he took part in world championships four times , his best result was fifth place in 1974 in Munich . The 1976 Olympic Games he had to give up after he had finished the duty in 6th place and the short program in 3rd place. He did not take part in the World Cup in the same year.
