Jay Humphry
James Clarke "Jay" Humphry (born July 28, 1948 in Vancouver , British Columbia ) is a former Canadian figure skater who started in a single run .
Humphry became Canadian champions in 1968 and 1969. From 1965 to 1969 he took part in world championships five times in a row . His best result there was sixth place in 1969 . At the 1968 Olympic Games in Grenoble , he finished seventh.
Humphry was trained by Edi Rada and Ellen Burka during his career . After the 1969 season, he turned pro and went to Ice Follies, where he impersonated Oscar from Sesame Street . Humphry now lives in Minneapolis and works for a company that produces Sesame Street themed entertainment shows.
