Ronnachai Rangsiyo ( Thai : รณชัย รังสิ โย , * August 1, 1988 in Bangkok , also Sam Thai : แซม ) is a Thai football player in the position of a striker .
Career
society
Ronnachai began his career on the Assumption College soccer team in Bangkok. In 2005 he took part in a casting show for soccer players, similar to the TV show Pop Idol . Alongside Sakarin Chanyotha and Narupol Aromsawa , he was ultimately selected to train for a year at the Everton FC youth academy . in autumn 2005, he went to England for a year to participate and train in the club's U-16 team. On his return he signed a contract with FC PEA . After the first half of the 2007 season he was loaned by his club to the FC Royal Thai Police . However, at the beginning of the 2008 season, he returned to the PEA. At the age of 20 he was already able to look forward to his first championship. In 2008 he won the Thai Premier League with the team . With his 17 goals, he played a very important role in the club's success. Although his goals weren't enough for the title of top scorer, Ronnachai was named the best young player of the 2008 season. Ronnachai was able to gain his first experience at international club level in 2009 when he competed with the club in the 2009 AFC Cup . He missed the first two group games and only scored one goal in the other four games. In the summer break, he then moved to the Premier League promoted Muang Thong United .
National team
His career in the national team began for Ronnachai in the U-17 of his country . He took part in his first major tournament at the U-17 Asian Football Championships . Ronnachai Rangsiyo is currently in both the U-23 squad and the men's national team. He made his debut for men on May 20, 2008, in a friendly against Nepal . He managed a goal. In the same year he was part of the squad for the ASEAN soccer championships . Ronnachai scored three goals over the course of the tournament. One of them in the first leg of the final against Vietnam .
