Ronnie Båthman (born April 24, 1959 in Köping ) is a former Swedish tennis player .

Life

Båthman became a professional tennis player in 1983. He first played on the ATP Challenger Tour , on which he won his first tournament in Travemünde in 1987 . He secured his first title on the Challenger Tour alongside Rikard Bergh in Cascais . In 1990 he won the first of three tournament wins in doubles on the ATP World Tour in Båstad . He was in four other double finals, including the Cologne Open , which was held for the only time in 1992.

His best performance in a Grand Slam tournament in singles was reaching the second round in 1984 at the Australian Open and in 1989 at Wimbledon . In 1989 he was in the semifinals of the French Open with Carlos di Laura . He reached his highest ranking in the double world rankings in 1992 with position 38, in singles in 1986 with position 139.
