The Rosenthaler Bach is a north and right tributary of the Strunde just over four kilometers long in the area of the district town of Bergisch Gladbach in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis . It is named after the nearby Rosenthaler Hof .

The Rosenthaler Bach rises at an altitude of about 218 m above sea level. NHN on federal road 506 on the border with the municipality of Odenthal near Grünenbäumchen . Another source tributary rises near Combüche . The Rosenthaler Bach has no tributaries.
The stream flows in a south-easterly direction along the Rosenthaler Weg, initially through a forest area, and later past meadows.
The stream finally flows into Herrenstrunden at a height of approximately 139 m from the north into the Strunde approaching from the east .
Catchment area
The 4,439 km² catchment area of the Rosenthaler Bach lies in the Paffrath limestone basin and the Bechener plateau .

- in the west to that of the Kuckelberger Bach
- in the north to that of the Käsbach and the Eikamper Bach
- in the east and southwest to that of the Strunde .
