Grünenbäumchen is a district near Altehufe in Oberodenthal in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . It is an old farm with other residential buildings, which is indicated as such on the sign .

history

In connection with the history of Altehufe there is an early mention of green trees in the 17th century by Heinrich zu Alterhofen . It was recorded as having nine fascines and 27 stakes . At the end of the 18th century, a so-called spiritual property was mentioned in Altehove .

Under French administration between 1806 and 1813, the Odenthal rule was dissolved and Grünenbäumchen was politically assigned to the Mairie Odenthal in the canton of Bensberg . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the mayor's office in Odenthal in the Mülheim am Rhein district .

On March 7, 1910, it was decided that Grünenbäumchen should be assigned to the neighboring Rectorate Herrenstrunden . In terms of property law, however, it remained linked to the Odenthal parish. After Herrenstrunden was raised to an independent parish on July 1, 1918, it was completely separated from the old Odenthal parish.

The place is on the topographic recording of the Rhineland in 1824 as a Green trees and on the Prussian Uraufnahme of 1840 as a green sapling recorded. From the Prussian new admission in 1892, it is regularly recorded as a green tree on measuring table sheets .
