Liesenberger Mühle is a district of the Odenthal municipality in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . It is located in the Scherfbachtal on a north side street of the Scherfbachtalstraße halfway between Höffe and Bechen .
history
The Liesenberger Mühle was built in 1857 as a bone mill . Here animal bones were ground into bone meal , which was used as an organic fertilizer in agriculture . Later it was also used as a flour mill.

In 1925 the Odenthal municipal council decided to expand the “ Funkenhof - Liesenbergermühle path ”. In 1926 the mill was shut down. The buildings and water systems have been preserved. The mill facilities no longer exist. In 1975 the village became part of the Odenthal municipality due to the Cologne Act .
The place is from the Prussian new recording from 1892 on Ordnance Survey regularly as Liese Berger mill recorded or no name.
