Location and description

Neighboring places are Bömerich , Bömerichermühle , Feld , Schickberg , Grimberg , Schmeisig , Unterbreidbach , Eichholz and Neschen . Hüttchen is one of the villages that is summarized under the collective name of Oberodenthal . It is located on the state road 310 from Altenberg to Bechen above the Great Dhünntalsperre .

history

The topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 lists the place as Hüttchen , the Prussian first survey from 1844 as Hüttgen . In 1846 Hüttchen belonged to the mayor's office of Odenthal under the name Hüttgen . The place, which was categorized as two houses according to the list of all localities in the government district of Cölns , had two houses with 20 inhabitants at that time, all of whom were Catholic.

In the municipality lexicon for the Rhineland province in 1885, two houses with nine inhabitants are given. In 1895 the place had four houses with 14 inhabitants, in 1905 three houses and 15 inhabitants.

BBQ hut
