Kramerhof is a district in Oberodenthal in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis . It is located east of Eikamp in the neighborhood of Trienenhaus on the border with Kürten .
history
Kramerhof got its name from the term Kram (small inherited property). The place was first mentioned on June 21, 1347. There it is said that the knight Wilhelm Quade and his wife Gertrud irrevocably donated their court to Altenberg Abbey “zu dem Crame” near Hochscherf (Overinscherve) with all rights . This is confirmed again on November 14, 1347. 1399 belonged Good stuff for Hofgericht Altenberg . In the period from 1499 to 1502, the Kramerhof annually delivered 10 Malter oats as well as ½ pork, 6 chickens and 100 eggs to Altenberg Abbey. The village was part of the Scherf community at that time .
During the War of the Spanish Succession , the Odenthalers also had to make their contributions to national defense. In this context, a Merten Kramer Halfen is listed. He had to provide 14 fascines and 12 stakes .
Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking names the court on his charter of the Duchy of Berg in 1789 as Krahm . It shows that Kramerhof was part of Oberodenthal in the Odenthal rulership at that time .
Under the French administration between 1806 and 1813, the rule was dissolved. Kramerhof was politically assigned to the Mairie Odenthal in the canton of Bensberg . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the mayor's office in Odenthal in the Mülheim am Rhein district .
The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and on the Prussian first survey from 1840 as junk . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, it is regularly recorded as Kramerhof on measuring table sheets .
