Nothausen lies west of Scheuren , with which it now forms a closed settlement area.

history

Nothausen was part of the Odenthal mayor's office in the Prussian district of Mülheim am Rhein .

The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and on the Prussian first survey of 1840 as Nothhau . From the Prussian new admission in 1892, it is regularly recorded on measuring table sheets as Nothausen or without a name.
