Wiebershausen is a residential area in Oberodenthal in the municipality of Odenthal in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Location and description

Wiebershausen is located in the Scherfbachtal south of Niederscherf .

history

The Topographia Ducatus Montani by Erich Philipp Ploennies , Blatt Amt Miselohe , shows that the residential area was categorized as two courtyards in 1715 and was named Bibeshus .

From the Charter of the Duchy of Berg in 1789 by Carl Friedrich von Wiebeking shows that Wiebershausen at that time part of Oberodenthal in the rule Odenthal was.

Under French administration between 1806 and 1813, the rule was dissolved and Wiebershausen was politically assigned to the Mairie Odenthal in the canton of Bensberg . In 1816 the Prussians converted the Mairie to the mayor's office in Odenthal in the Mülheim am Rhein district .

The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824 and on the Prussian first survey of 1840 as Wibershausen . From 1892 onwards, the Prussian admission , it is regularly recorded on measuring table sheets as Wiebershausen or without a name.
