The Rottbusch nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the independent city of Münster in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends northwest of the core city of Münster and west of Sprakel , the northernmost district of Münster. State road L 529 runs to the west and south-west, district road K 13 and A 1 run to the east . The 16.24 hectare large nature reserve (NSG) Hanseller Floth extends to the north and the 17.79 hectare large NSG Feuchtwiese Hansell to the west .
