Route Adélie
The Route Adélie de Vitré , usually referred to as Route Adélie for short , is a French cycling race .
The one-day race , which usually has its date in early April and takes place around the French commune of Vitré in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , was first held in 1996, at that time under the name Tour d'Armorique . Since the introduction of the UCI Europe Tour in the 2005 season, the race has been part of this racing series and classified in category 1.1. The Route Adélie de Vitré was also part of the Coupe de France , a series of French one-day races from 1996 to 2007 . The record winner is Jaan Kirsipuu , who won the race twice.
