Horst Stark
Horst Stark (born July 20, 1934 in Hamburg ) is a German actor and voice actor .
Life
Horst Stark was employed as an actor at various Hamburg theaters, such as the Thalia Theater , the Kammerspiele and the Theater im Zimmer . On television, Stark appeared in several episodes of the crime scene in Hamburg . In addition to his work as an actor, he works as a voice actor as well as in advertising.
His most important dubbing works include the series lead roles Adam Cartwright ( Pernell Roberts ) in Bonanza , Moss Andrews ( Ty Hardin ) in SOS - Charter Boat , Mr. Roarke ( Ricardo Montalbán ) in Fantasy Island and Captain Furillo ( Daniel J. Travanti ) in Hill Street Police Station . He has also dubbed Burt Reynolds in Hai , Randolph Scott in Quicksand , Dennis Weaver in Duel by Steven Spielberg and Henry Silva in Flames on the Horizon . In the series Mannix he was heard in a guest role for William Shatner , in Moon Base Alpha 1 he spoke numerous supporting characters. Most recently he worked for Patrick Bauchau in Dr. House to hear. He also became known to a larger audience as the spokesman for the characters Schlemihl and Sherlock Humbug in Sesame Street .
He has also spoken characters in many radio plays. He also spoke several fairy tales for the radio play series Tell me something . Even today he is often associated with his work in the radio play series Commander Perkins or the horror series by HG Francis ; in the latter he spoke among other things in the episode Countess Dracula, Daughter of Evil the nautical officer Angelo Menares.
Horst Stark is now retired and only accepts engagements sporadically. He lives mostly in Italy . His son Christian Stark also works as a voice actor.
