The Route der Industriekultur Rhein-Main Hessischer Oberer Main is a section of the Route der Industriekultur Rhein-Main on the Hessian Upper Main and includes the cities of Maintal , Mühlheim am Main , Hainburg , Großkrotzenburg , Seligenstadt and Mainhausen . The city of Hanau, which is also geographically located on the upper Main, has its own partial route, see: Route der Industriekultur Rhein-Main Hanau .

The project tries to develop monuments of industrial history in the Rhine-Main area .
