The Ruhlander Schwarzwasser is a left tributary of the Black Elster in Brandenburg and Saxony .

course

It rises in the Bernsdorf community forest near Heide , a district of Wiednitz . On its further course to the west, the small river flows partly in Brandenburg, partly in Saxony. In the Ruhlander Heide it forms the border between the two countries. The Saleskbach flows there on the left, flowing from the heath villages Cosel , Grüngräbchen and Großgrabe .

The black water then flows north through Jannowitz and Arnsdorf . It flows into the Black Elster near the town of Ruhland .

In Arnsdorf the Sieggraben branches off to the left, which also flows into the Schwarze Elster below Ruhland.
