action
Mickey Mouse is engrossed in a computer game when Minnie Mouse appears and is excited to see what both of them will do that evening. It's the anniversary of their first rendezvous, which Micky forgot. Before Minnie can go angry, Micky holds a newspaper article under her nose that advertises mini golf . That's exactly what he planned for the evening. However, Minnie sees the ad for a Hawaiian vacation underneath, is excited, and leaves. The vacation costs almost $ 1,000 and Mickey is desperate because he has no money. Pluto draws his attention to an ad that offers nearly $ 1,000 for mindless work. Micky goes to the house specified in the ad.
After he rang the doorbell, he was pulled directly into the interior of the house via a shaft and tied to a chair. The ape-like Dr. Frankenollie, who created an oversized Kater-Karlo monster named Julius and still needs a brain for him. Although Micky defends himself, his brain is transplanted into Julius' head via electricity. Micky now owns the exterior of Julius, while his outer Mickey shell is now inhabited by a dangerous little monster. The monster found a photo of Minnie in Mickey's wallet and is now pursuing her. Micky saves Minnie, but comes to a high voltage pylon with the mini monster. The electricity gives Micky his brain back and now fights the mindless Julius together with Minnie on a skyscraper. He ties him up in the end and pushes him off the roof. The final picture shows Mickey and Minnie in Hawaii. Your boat is pulled by Julius, in front of whom a picture of Minnis was hung with the help of a fishing rod, which he now tries in vain to reach.
production
Mickey Monster Mouse was released in 1995 as a supporting film for the Disney real- life film Knightskater - Knights on Rollerblades in US cinemas. Outside the United States, the short film was shown before the cartoon Goofy - The Film , as was in Germany.
The film refers to numerous earlier Mickey Mouse adventures: In Mickey's wallet there is an image from Steamboat Willie , the scenes at the mad scientist Dr. Frankenollie - the name pays homage to Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston - is reminiscent of scenes from The Mad Doctor (1933) and the monster is tied up in the same way as the giant in Brave Little Tailor .
