Rupsroth

Rupsroth is one of eleven districts of the market town of Hilders in the biosphere reserve of the Hessian Rhön . The village is scattered due to its scattered location from Unterrupsroth, Mittelrupsroth and Oberrupsroth.

Rupsroth is located southwest of the main town. State road 3068 runs through the village .

history

On December 31, 1971, the previously independent community of Rupsroth was incorporated into the Hilders community.

In Rupsroth there have been no major changes or renovations to public places and buildings for a long time. In 2013, as a first action, the small village square in the middle of Unterrupsroth was thoroughly cleaned and replanted. In 2014, the first major campaigns followed, such as the renovation of the outer facade of the village community center or the construction of a cable car on the children's playground . In 2014 and 2015, the fire station and the adjoining freezer and bakery were refurbished, renovated and reopened for the 700th anniversary in 2015.

Others

There is a village community center and a children's playground in the village . The Milseburgradweg leads past the place. A basalt plant with concrete / phonolith plant is operated east of the town .
