Rutsker Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Bornholm . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bornholms Nørre Herred in what was then Bornholms Amt , then with the elimination of the Harden structure to Hasle Kommune in the unchanged Bornholms Amt, which in turn became part of Bornholms Regionskommune in January 2003 . 570 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The “ Ruts Kirke ” in the parish is Bornholm's highest church and was built around 1200 in the Romanesque style. in the choir there is a lamp from Hammershus Fortress . Bornholm's liberator Povl Anker (* 1630; † 1697) was pastor of this church.
