Sankt Peders Kirke

Pedersker Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Bornholm . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Bornholms Sønder Herred in what was then Bornholms Amt , then with the loss of the Harden structure to Åkirkeby Kommune in the unchanged Bornholms Amt, which in turn became part of Bornholms Regional Commune in January 2003 . The Regional Municipality was initially - as Copenhagen and Frederiksberg - amt free, so reports directly to the State, and then with the municipal reform on 1 January 2007 of the Capital Region assigned.

578 inhabitants live in the parish, 241 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Sankt Peders Kirke" is located in the parish .

Pedersker Sogn is divided by the Aaker Sogn , which penetrates the municipality from the west, and the Bodilsker Sogn, which penetrates from the east, into a smaller, inland exclave located to the north and a larger main part located on the south coast. Other neighboring communities are Østermarie Sogn in the north and Poulsker Sogn, which is divided in the same way by Bodilsker Sogn, in the east .
