Ryan Moats (* 17th December 1982 in Dallas , Texas ) is a former American American football poker players in the position of running backs . He played with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Houston Texans in the National Football League (NFL).
Career
college
Moats came with good benefits from the high school -time in the Louisiana Tech University . In total, he completed 32 games with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs . In 2004 he received the WAC Offensive Player of the Year award .
NFL
The Philadelphia Eagles signed Moats in the third round of the NFL Draft as the 77th player. He was set up as a backup behind Brian Westbrook . Due to an injury to Westbrooks, Ryan Moats came to his first appearances towards the end of the season. He scored his first touchdown against the New York Giants . He also ran 114 yards in eleven attempts . In 2006 he only came to a few missions, in 2007 he had to pause the entire season due to an injury. Shortly before the start of the 2008 season, the Eagles deleted him from the squad.
After a brief appearance with the Arizona Cardinals , Moats joined the Houston Texans in October 2008 . With the Texans he was used regularly. In October 2009 he got three touchdowns in one game after the injury-related loss of Steve Slaton . His good performance was subsequently rewarded with a regular place.
In June 2010, the Minnesota Vikings signed Ryan Moats, but threw him back from the roster shortly before the season.
