Sébastien Rosseler (born July 15, 1981 in Verviers ) is a former Belgian cyclist .

Career

Sébastien Rosseler rode as a stagiaire for the Domo-Farm Frites cycling team in 2002 . He received his first regular contract in 2004 with the Spanish team Relax-Bodysol and in 2005 switched to the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step , for which he competed three times in the Tour de France until 2009 , came second overall in the Tour of Belgium in 2006 and a stage in the ProTour Race won the ENECO Tour 2007 . He achieved his greatest successes up to then as a member of the RadioShack team by winning the semi-classic Pfeil von Brabant 2010 and the overall ranking of the Three Days of De Panne 2011 . With Garmin-Sharp , with whom he stayed until 2013, he won the team time trial at the 2012 Giro d'Italia . He retired in 2015 after 13 years as a professional due to persistent physical ailments.
