Süloğlu is a district town and a district in the southwest of the Turkish province of Edirne . The city is 32 km east of the provincial capital and is home to half of the district's population. Süloğlu is named after an Ottoman general and was raised to the rank of municipality in 1967 .

The smallest district was split off from the central district of Edirne in 1990. Until then, the eleven villages and the municipality belonged to the Bucak Süloğlu. The population was at the last census before the change of area (1985) 13,073, of which the Bucak Merkez (i.e. the municipality of Süloğlu) had 4,423 inhabitants.

The district extends in the northeast of the province and is bordered by the Lalapaşa district in the north, the Havsa district in the south, the central Edirne district in the west and the central district of the Kırklareli province in the east.

At the end of 2018, the district comprised ten villages ( Köy ) with an average of 351 inhabitants. Büyük Gerdelli was the largest village with 813 inhabitants.
