The SV Bökendorf (officially: Sportverein 21 Bökendorf eV ) is a sports club from the Brakel district of Bökendorf in the Höxter district . The first women's football team was promoted to the Regionalliga West in 2018 .

history

The association was founded in 1921. The women's team played in the district league for many years and made it to the district league in 2011. Two years later, the Bökendorferinnen rose to the state league. Reinforced by the former Bundesliga players Christina Drewitz and Yvonne Hansmeier , they made it through to the fourth-class Westfalenliga in the 2013/14 season . In 2016, SV Bökendorf took third place. A year later, the women from Bökendorf were runner-up in the Westphalia League behind SpVg Berghofen . A year later, the team secured promotion to the Regionalliga West. On the last day of the match, the team won 13-0 against Concordia Flaesheim and secured the championship with the better goal difference compared to 1. FFC Recklinghausen .

The Bökendorfer women reached the semi-finals in the Westphalia Cup three times . In 2016, the team failed there 4-0 after extra time against Germania Hauenhorst . A year later, SV Bökendorf lost 1: 5 at SpVg Berghofen and in 2018 SV Bökendorf failed 3: 4 after extra time at DJK-VfL Billerbeck .

The first men's team of SV Bökendorf played from 1974 to 1976, from 1982 to 1985 and in the 1997/98 season in the district league A Höxter.
