Səbinə Babayeva
Səbinə Babayeva (also Sabina Babayeva ; born December 2, 1979 in Baku ) is an Azerbaijani singer .
After studying singing at the Asaf Zeynally Conservatory , she took part in various singing competitions. In Azerbaijan, she became known as the singer of the title song of the television series Bəyaz həyat . She already took part in the pre-selection for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest , in which she took third place. She made first place in the 2012 preselection and was now allowed to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku. Accompanied by the Azerbaijani mugham legend Alim Qasimov , she performed the pop ballad When the music dies and reached fourth place.
At the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 she was the points speaker for Azerbaijan.
Babayeva has been married since 2012 and has been the mother of one son since 2016.
