Saint-Just is a village on 868-1087 meters above sea level in the French department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The formerly independent municipality with an area of 17.06 square kilometers belonged to the canton of Neuvéglise and the arrondissement of Saint-Flour . With effect from January 1, 2016, Saint-Just was merged with Faverolles , Loubaresse and Saint-Marc to form the Commune nouvelle Val d'Arcomie . Since then it has been a Commune déléguée

Saint-Just is located on the Arcomie river and, in addition to the center, also includes the villages of Charmensac, Estrémiac, Falcimagne, La Chassagne, Recoux and Romagnac. Neighboring municipalities were Saint-Marc in the north-west, Loubaresse in the north, Albaret-Sainte-Marie in the east, Les Monts-Verts in the south and Albaret-le-Comtal in the south-west.
