The Saling Township is the westernmost of eight townships in Audrain County of in the middle northeastern US -amerikanischen state of Missouri . In 2010 the Saling Township had 1,472 inhabitants.

The Saling Township is around 95 km north of the Missouri River and around 120 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois .
The Saling Township is located at 39 ° 17 ' N , 92 ° 10' W and extends over 203.15 km².
The Saling Township is located in the far west of Audrain County and is bordered to the south by Boone County , to the west by Randolph County and to the north by Monroe County . Within the Audrain County Wilson Township is bordered to the east by the Wilson Township .

The southern border of the Saling Township are Missouri State Routes 22 in the west and 151 in the east. After the intersection, the latter runs north through the entire area of the township. All other roads within the township are subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
Two railway lines run parallel to State Route 22, the Norfolk Southern Railway from St. Louis to Kansas City and the Kansas City Southern from Springfield in Illinois to Kansas City.
The Mexico Memorial Airport is a small airfield located around 40 km east-southeast of the Saling Township. The nearest major airports are Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport , located around 200 km east-southeast, and Kansas City International Airport, around 270 km west .
