The Wilson Township is one of eight townships in Audrain County of in the middle northeastern US -amerikanischen state of Missouri . In 2010 Wilson Township had 1633 residents.

Wilson Township is located around 70 km north of the Missouri River and around 90 km west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois .
Wilson Township is located at 39 ° 11 ' N , 92 ° 2' W and extends over 354.45 km², which is spread over 351.80 km² of land and 2.65 km² of water.
The Wilson Township is located in the western center of Audrain County and stretches from the northern border with Monroe County to the southern border with Callaway County through the entire county. It is adjacent to Boone County to the southwest . Within Audrain County, Wilson Township borders the Saling Township in the northwest and the Salt River Township in the east .

Missouri State Route 15 runs through the north of Wilson Township and Missouri State Route 22 through the center . All other roads within the township are subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
Two railway lines run parallel to State Route 22, the Norfolk Southern Railway from St. Louis to Kansas City and the Kansas City Southern from Springfield in Illinois to Kansas City.
The Mexico Memorial Airport is located around 20 km east of Wilson Township, a small airfield. The nearest major airport is Lambert-Saint Louis International Airport, around 170 km east-southeast .
