Sam Trammell
Sam Trammell (born January 29, 1969 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American actor.
Life
Trammell was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, grew up in Charleston , West Virginia , and graduated from George Washington High School there . He then studied at Brown University and the University of Paris and worked in various theater productions.
Trammell had his first film role in 1996 in The Embers of Violence . This was followed by other small film roles and numerous guest appearances in Numbers - The Logic of Crime , Dr. House , Bones , CSI: New York , Dexter and Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten .
He was introduced to a wider public in 2007 through a supporting role in the film Aliens vs. Predator 2 known. From 2008 to 2014 he starred in Alan Ball's television series True Blood .
He has been in a relationship with actress Missy Yager since 2003. In August 2011, they became parents to twins.
