The Samspitze is a 2624  m above sea level. A. high summit in the Lechtal Alps , Tyrol , Austria .

geography

It rises in the main ridge of the mountains on the watershed between Lech and Inn . The closest villages are Schnann and Flirsch in the Stanzer Valley, which runs directly south of the mountain . In the northwest separates the 2303  m above sea level. A. high Alperschonjoch the Samspitze from the front lake and to the northeast it falls steeply to 2464  m above sea level. A. high Flarschjoch .

Ascent

The Ansbacher Hut is located on a shoulder in the southeast of the Samspitze . From here the summit can be reached in 45 minutes on a steep path. Climbing tracks also lead from the Alperschonjoch to the Samspitze. Both paths make it possible to cross the mountain, which is often used at the transition from the Ansbacher Hütte to the Kaiserjochhaus or in the opposite direction. The ascent over the northeast ridge from Flarschjoch ( UIAA II ) is more difficult .
