The Kaiserjochhaus is an alpine club hut of the Leutkirch section of the German Alpine Club in the Lechtal Alps , Tyrol , Austria .
location
The Kaiserjochhaus, built in 1888, is located at 2310 m above sea level. A. on the Kaiserjoch , in the municipality of Pettneu am Arlberg , directly on the municipality border with Kaisers .
Accesses
- from Pettneu, 3½ hours, ascent on the southern slope
- from Kaisers, 2½ hours
Neighboring huts and crossings
- To the Leutkircher hut in 2 hours. The summit of the Stanskogel can be “taken with you”, approx. 2 hours more effort.
- To the Ansbacher Hütte via Kridlonscharte, Hinterseejoch, Alperschonjoch and Flarschjoch in 4½ hours. The crossing of the frontseespitze O-ridge is rope insured, inexperienced people should only walk in the company of experienced hikers or guides.
- To the Simmshütte via Kridlonscharte and Kälberlahnzugjöchl in 5 hours. This path leads through the Klämmle, a steep gully in Vorderseespitze -Westgrat. Here insurance companies, inexperienced users should only undertake the path in the company of experienced mountain hikers or guides.
