The Samtgemeinde Himmelpforten was a community association in the northwestern part of the district of Stade .

Joint community structure
The entire community was made up of the five member communities Düdenbüttel , Engelschoff , Großenwörden , Hammah and Himmelpforten .
history
The integrated community of Himmelpforten was formed on July 1, 1972 from the above-mentioned communities.
On January 1, 2014, it merged with the Oldendorf Samtgemeinde to form the new Samtgemeinde Oldendorf-Himmelpforten .

Joint mayor of the municipality
The last joint mayor was Holger Falcke until December 31, 2013. He was a major proponent of the merger of the two integrated communities Oldendorf and Himmelpforten.

The joint community was school wearer of the primary schools in Hammah and pearly gates and the high school in Himmelpforten ( Porta Coeli School ).
