The integrated community of Oldendorf was a community association in the Stade district .

history

The integrated community was formed with the community reform in July 1972 with the member communities Burweg , Estorf , Heinbockel , Kranenburg and Oldendorf .

On January 1, 2014, it merged with the Himmelpforten joint community to form the new Oldendorf-Himmelpforten joint community .

Joint mayor of the municipality

In the last mayoral election, the non-party candidate and trained administrative and business economist Thomas Scharbatke prevailed against Hans Willi Heinsohn from the electoral community . Scharbatke was supported in the election by the CDU, SPD and the Greens. His term of office ended on December 31, 2013.

Partnerships

Since July 8, 2005, the joint municipality has been in partnership with the Polish rural municipality of Puck on the Baltic Sea .

The cross can be found similarly in the coat of arms of the municipality of Oldendorf and symbolizes the St. Martin's Church in Oldendorf. The urn is borrowed from the coat of arms of the Heinbockel community and stands for the early historical finds that were made in the joint community.
