San Isidro is a metropolitan municipality in the Davao Oriental Province and is located on Mindanao Island in the Philippines . It has 36,032 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census) who live in 16 barangays .

The community of San Isidro is located about 120 km southeast of Davao City on the St. Augustin peninsula and can be reached from there via the coastal road on the Gulf of Davao . The municipality occupies an area of ​​275.42 km² and the terrain is dominated by the Hamiguitan mountain range , which rises to 1620 meters above sea level.
