Seelenfeld sand pit
The nature reserve Sandgrube Seelenfeld is located southeast of the Seelenfeld district of the city of Petershagen . The area is around 10.5 hectares and is listed under the number MI-059.
The protection is intended to open up habitats on dry sandy soil locations. It is expected from natural succession that thermophilic animal and plant species will settle. In addition, the development of steep walls and sand slopes should be observed.
