Sandra Ittlinger (born June 24, 1994 in Munich ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career indoor volleyball

At the age of ten, Sandra Ittlinger began playing volleyball at SC Gröbenzell . She moved to SV Lohhof after just one season . There she reached third place at the German Championships in Lohhof in 2008 with the D-Youth. Her greatest successes in youth came in the 2008/09 season, when she won the U17 national cup in Damp with the U16 in the hall in Dieburg, Hesse , as well as in beach volleyball with her partner Yanina Weiland . In April 2010, Sandra Ittlinger played for the U17 youth national team for the first time and won the six-nation tournament in Brussels undefeated with the team.
At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, the high school student switched to the women's team at TV Planegg-Krailling. In her youth, the Gröbenzellerin remained loyal to SV Lohhof, with whom she reached the German runner-up in the U18. In addition, the outside attacker received the second game right for the Bundesliga club Allgäu Team Sonthofen in the adult area . In one of her first appearances in the Bundesliga, Sandra Ittlinger played a decisive role in the Allgäu's first win of the season in the Bundesliga season 2009/10 at the away game against Alemannia Aachen with a series of serve in the fifth set . The student was the youngest player in the volleyball Bundesliga. In 2011 she moved to the Rote Raben Vilsbiburg and in 2012 to the VC Olympia Berlin .

Career beach volleyball

Ittlinger has also been playing beach volleyball since 2009. With Yanina Weiland she took numerous top placements at national and international youth and junior championships. Ittlinger / Weiland have also started the national Smart Beach Tour since 2011 and have regularly participated in the German championship in Timmendorfer Strand since 2014 . In 2016 they also played internationally on the FIVB World Tour and won the CEV satellite tournament in Messina . With Cinja Tillmann , Ittlinger also won the CEV satellite tournament in Barcelona in the same year . In 2017 she played nationally and internationally with Teresa Mersmann . From October 2017 to the end of 2018, Ittlinger formed a new team with Kim Behrens , which was trained by Kay Matysik . On the FIVB World Tour 2017/18 the two had numerous top ten placements. At the European Championship in the Netherlands , Behrens / Ittlinger finished ninth. In Timmendorfer Strand they became German runners- up after a final defeat against Bieneck / Schneider . At the end of January 2019 it was announced that Ittlinger was starting the Olympic qualification with Chantal Laboreur as a new partner. After mixed placements on the World Tour , Ittlinger / Laboreur reached fifth place at the European Championships in Moscow .
