Sankt Bernhardt is a district of Esslingen am Neckar . It developed around the today Evangelical Church of St. Bernhardt, first mentioned in 1382, and consisted of a hamlet that belonged to Hainbach around 1463 . Members of the von Palm family as well as the writer Olaf Saile and his wife Käthe Saile are buried in the St. Bernhardt cemetery.

The district has grown rapidly in recent years after living space was created in the buildings of the former Becelaere barracks and new buildings on the site of the radio barracks.
