Sankt Heinrich is a district of the Münsing community in the Upper Bavarian district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen . The church village is located directly on Lake Starnberg .

The place is named after the blessed Heinrich vom Starnberger See, who lived here in the 12th or 13th century in a hermitage instead of today's church and is buried there.

The parish description by Franz Sales Gailler from 1756 shows that six of the eleven Sankt Heinricher Höfe belonged to the parish of Iffeldorf . Only their residents were allowed to be buried in the local cemetery, the rest had to be buried in Holzhausen . After secularization , in the course of the reorganization of the parishes due to the shorter route, Sankt Heinrich was assigned to the parish of Seeshaupt in a letter dated September 23, 1805 , to which it still belongs today. Iffeldorf received the Nantesbucher Höfe from the parish Benediktbeuern .

The place has a volunteer fire brigade , which has had a medium fire engine since 2017 .
