history

Nantesbuch is reported for the first time in 1279 in a tax book of the Benediktbeuern monastery .

In 1805 the first school opened in Nantesbuch in the area of today's Penzberg (then Sankt Johannisrain ), but it was closed again in 1968 - after the construction of the central school in Penzberg (today: Mayor Prandl primary and secondary school ).
