Santa Ninfa is a municipality in the Free Municipal Consortium Trapani in the region of Sicily in Italy with 4955 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).

Location and dates

The municipality is located 50 km southeast of Trapani at an altitude of 410 m. The municipality covers an area of ​​63 km². The main occupation of the inhabitants is agriculture.

The neighboring municipalities are Calatafimi Segesta , Castelvetrano , Gibellina , Partanna , Salaparuta and Salemi .

The parish was founded in 1605. The parish was destroyed in the earthquake in 1968. The inhabitants rebuilt the community partly on the old site and partly a little further south.
