Sarah Ines (born November 8, 1970 in Düsseldorf , real name: Sarah Ines Struck ) is a German author and vocalist .

life and work

The daughter of the writer Karin Struck grew up as the sister of three brothers in Münster , Billerbeck and Hamburg, among others . Struck wrote her first verses and stories at the age of thirteen. She studied German / Modern German Literature , Oriental Studies / Oriental Philology and Philosophy at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . During her studies she worked in bars in Kiel for several years. She has lived in Munich since 1998 .

Sarah Ines works artistically in the genres of diary , poetry , fiction and scenic as well as in and on cross-art projects with visual arts and music . She has published in anthologies since 1990/2002 . Her poetry debut "Liebe geht durch die Haut" was published in 2007 by Storia Verlag. She participated in the poetic art projects »Madonna says ...« by Augusta Laar (Munich 2003) and »Aphrodite's Library« by Mary Plant (Cyprus 2003). Together with the sound artist Kalle Laar, she conceived the project "Taunus Remix" with texts and sounds by and about Karin Struck , which premiered in 2013 in the Hessian Literature Forum in the Mousonturm in Frankfurt as part of the "Literaturland Hessen - A Day for Literature" . She is currently working on the poetry performance projects "Isar Loreley" and "Women are not present" as well as, together with other artists, on the performance project "Emanations - Future of Memories - What we radiate good" on the occasion of five years of Fukushima.

Sarah Ines was co-curator and co-organizer of the Schamrock Festival der Dichterinnen 2012 and 2014 in Munich and Vienna. At the 2016 Schamrock Festival she curated a country focus on Indonesia. As board member of the non-profit association Karin-Struck-Stiftung e. V., the literary scholar also manages her mother's estate , which is in the Monacensia literary archive of the state capital Munich , and organizes the reading series "Duels mit Spiegelbildern". She also works as a cultural mediator and social media & public relations lady for culture and technology.
