Sascha Markus Raabe (born June 10, 1968 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

He is a deputy member of the Committee for Economic Affairs and Energy and deputy chairman of the German- Central American parliamentary group . In addition, Raabe is the permanent authorized representative of the SPD parliamentary group at Welthungerhilfe, a member of the SPD's “Forum eine Welt”, and a member of the advisory board of the German Evaluation Institute for Development Cooperation (DEval). Following the controversial appointment of Gabriela Büssemaker to the BMZ, Raabe filed a criminal complaint against Development Minister Dirk Niebel in 2012 on suspicion of infidelity . However, the public prosecutor's office refrained from conducting an investigation.

Sascha Raabe moved into the Bundestag in 2002 and 2005 as a directly elected member of the Hanau constituency . In 2009 , 2013 and 2017 Raabe received his mandate via the state list.

Sascha Raabe has also been a member of the district council of the Main-Kinzig district since 2011 .
