The constituency of Hanau (constituency 180) is a Bundestag constituency in Hesse . The constituency includes the communities of Bruchköbel , Erlensee , Großkrotzenburg , Hammersbach , Hanau , Hasselroth , Langenselbold , Maintal , Neuberg , Nidderau , Niederdorfelden , Rodenbach , Ronneburg and Schöneck from the Main-Kinzig district .

Election 2017

The 2017 federal election took place on Sunday, September 24, 2017. In Hesse , 20 parties applied with their state list. The Alliance of German Democrats withdrew their application. The violet one was rejected by the state election committee because the required two thousand signatures for support were not presented. Thus 18 parties applied with their state lists in Hesse. A total of 353 applicants ran on the state lists, not quite a third (114) of them women.
