Schabernack is a wasteland belonging to Schöllkrippen in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart .

Surname

The name Schabernack comes from the old words schabe and nack , which means to dig up the ridge . It has nothing to do with a prank .

Schabernack is located in the Kahlgrund in the Höllenbachtal on the Reuschberg at 325  m above sea level. NN between Vormwald and the Röderhof on the district of Schöllkrippen. The homestead is located directly on the border to the community-free area Schöllkrippener Forst . The Degen-Weg leads past Schabernack .

Joke was first mentioned in 1425. In 1570 the Schabernack pit copper mine was built there. In 1748 the farm was rebuilt.
